Barry Crisp is a graduate of Creative Writing & Journalism from
Middlesex University, London. He works as a Creative Director for i-genius.org, Assistant Language Teacher in Public Elementary and Junior High Schools, documentary filmmaker, freelance journalist, and private English tutor in Japan. Barry's aims for UK-Japan.net were
inspired by everyday social interaction and in the hope to deepen our
knowledge of cross-cultures.
UK-Japan.netの 創設者であり、ロンドンにあるミドルエセックス大学でクリエイティブ ライティングとジャーナリズムを修める。ドキュメンタリーフィルム制作者、フリージャーナリスト、i-geniusのクリエイティブ ディレクターとして活躍し、日本では英語教師として従事する。 クリスプにとってUK-Japan.netとは日々の社会相互の関わりであり、また文化交流における知識を深めることを期待するところのものである。
Once an actor, Barry excelled and participated in many performances both national and international. And as a member of the National Union of Journalists, The Japan Society, 3Four50, and i-genius, Barry has an enthusiastic interest in the cultural similarities and differences, and health awareness issues between the UK and Japan.
かつては、国内外で評された俳優であるクリスプはまた、イギリス ジャーナリスト組合、ジャパン ソサイエティー、 3Four50、i-geniusの一員として、英日の文化的相違点、そして両国が抱く健康に対する意識の問題に大変強い関心を抱いている。
Through a creative medium (video and journalism), Barry hopes to make the world more aware of the environmental, cultural and health issues that effect and surround us everyday.
